- A focused headline - not just "PhD Student," but where you're headed and the value you bring
- A great profile photo - clear, friendly, professional, and well-lit
- The right location - set to where you want to work, so the right recruiters can actually find you
- The right keywords in your Experience section - that's the most valuable section for recruiters, so pack it with the terms they're actually searching for
- Pair up with another attendee (or a small group).
- Review each other's profiles against the checklist - be kind, but be honest!
