If ever there was a motto that deserved to be emblazoned on a t-shirt, this is it:
"Job-searching is a skill – not an event" 🤯
I just came across it in a post that Damien Cabral wrote for Jobscan: https://www.jobscan.co/blog/career-services-as-the-new-launchpad-teaching-the-skill-of-job-searching-in-the-age-of-ai/
And I feel like it nails the essence of what Career Services should be:
🛠️ Building life-long skills in the same way as any great teacher or faculty member...
❌ ...Not just a random rite-of-passage like Senior Week or Finals.
Big kudos to Damien and Jobscan for keeping our eyes on the North Star! 🌟
