What's the #1 reason your students' resumes are getting rejected?

Here's my take:

❌ It's not about Action Verbs.

❌ It's not about CAR Bullets.

❌ It's not even about 1-Page Resumes!

As a former recruiter myself, I couldn't have cared less about any of those Inside Baseball career topics...

...In fact, I personally hated 1-page resumes (as do the majority of recruiters in real experiments - see here and here).

But there was one question that absolutely mattered:

✅ Does this student FIT my specific role?

That's it.

And that's why I need us coaches to do better by our students:

❌ To not just preach conventional wisdom...

🖖 ...But to help our students do a frickin' VULCAN MIND MELD with the only audience that matters - their recruiters.
