What does this mean for US as career experts? 🤔
It means our students and clients aren't WAITING to be taught AI before using it - they're already there...
And that means THREE key things for our jobs:
1️⃣ The question can no longer be "Should we use AI?" - instead, it has to be "How do we master AI so we can teach our students the right way to use it?"
2️⃣ AI can no longer be something we or our students use in secret - instead, we need to be open about how both parties are using it so we make sure to steer students clear of "Generate a cover letter for this job."
3️⃣ We can't just be focused on just providing data (which the LLMs can do) - instead we need to provide the strategy, empathy, and nuance that an algorithm can't touch.
